Stevie is local born Wiradjuri women who has worked in the Forbes area since leaving school. She is studying her Certificate IV in Mental Health. Stevie is passionate about the legal rights and support of Aboriginal people and their families. Over the past 7 months Stevie has acquired training and certificates in Child Awareness Supervision, Supporting Infants and Toddlers of Parents with a Mental Illness, Child Aware Practice, The Impact of Trauma on a Child, The Impact of Family and Domestic Violence on a Child, Child Mental Health, The Impact of Parental Substance Use on a Child, Statement of Attainment in Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence, Engaging Parents, Engaging with Children, Diversion, Inclusion and Belonging, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid. Stevie has also completed in house Cultural Awareness training. Stevie has completed her Certificate lV in mental health and has became a facilitator in the Love Bites Program. She has a focus on offering holistic support to the families within our service area.
