Binaal Billa Family Violence Prevention Legal Service is based in FORBES and also provides outreach services to Parkes, Peak Hill, West Wyalong, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo and Murrin Bridge.

Binaal Billa Family Violence Prevention Legal Service is funded by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet and overseen by NIAA

( National Indigenous Australians Agency) to provide Legal Assistance, Advice & Advocacy to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander victims of Family Violence and / or sexual assault.

We do not provide assistance to perpetrators of family violence or sexual assault

Binaal Billa is auspice by Yoorana Gunya Family Healing Centre Aboriginal Corp.

Binaal Billa has in house case management support and Victims Services applications and support. Offering Holistic culturally appropriate support and referrals for up to 12 months.

Legal Advice & Support

Assistance with Preparation of Legal documents and applications. Including mediation, care matters, parenting plans and assistance with ADVO applications and variations.

Binaal Billa FVPLS has in house case management support for family, domestic violence and sexual assault victims.

Community Engagement

Working with the community and in the schools to deliver educational workshops, information days, BBQ’s and community awareness programs is an important part of the service we deliver as it helps with connecting to the community on a grass roots level, helping us to identify and address the deeper problems and promote our service within our service area.
